The American University of Sharjah (AUS) MBA program is ranked the best in the Middle East region, a recent QS Global Business Schools Report revealed. The rank was based on the demands of international employers for MBA graduates.
The ranking, published by www.TopMBA.com, is unique in that it highlights the value of MBA programs based on employer demands of MBA graduates. It was based on over 4,000 responses from recruiters that hire MBA graduates. In addition to the top ranking in the Middle East, the AUS MBA came third when Africa was added to the Middle East.
Dr. Patrick McClelland, Director of the MBA Program at the AUS School of Business Administration (SBA), said “our MBA students are prepared to identify, analyze and understand the interrelationships among business organizations and international and domestic institutions in the UAE and throughout the world.” The AUS MBA students “also develop an awareness of societal and environmental needs and concerns as they relate to ethical, professional and socially responsible business practices,” he added.
The AUS MBA and EMBA degrees as well as the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Only fewer than five percent of the world’s business schools have achieved this accreditation.
AUS is also ranked among the top universities in the Middle East, according to QS.
