Wattayah Motors, the Omani dealer of German car brands Audi and Volkswagen, recently announced that its car sales had experienced a 70 percent rise over the year 2001. In comparison, Audi brand sales throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region rose 25 percent on average during the same period.

The company attributed this impressive performance to new model launchings—the Quattro and the A4—as well to the opening of a new showroom and dedicated customer service. The Audi range also includes the A3, S3, A6, A8, A8L, TT Roadster and TT Coupe.

Recently acquired by the Zubair Group, Wattayah Motors LLC is the exclusive distributor in the Sultanate of Volkswagen and Audi. The company has a showroom in Ruwi, while service and parts facilities are situated at Wattayah. — (menareport.com)
