Bahrain's Ahli United Bank (AUB) has announced the launch of a new partnership with Taamir Mortgage Company, Egypt's first mortgage company and a pioneer in the field of home financing. Based on the new partnership, AUB will promote and market Taamir Mortgage Company's line of loans for purchase, construction or renovation of property in Egypt, as well as pre-qualify applicants wishing to obtain mortgages on Egyptian properties.
According to the GDN, Taamir Mortgage Company was established via a partnership between 11 of Egypt's biggest firms in the fields of real estate, banking and insurance, with a combined total capital of $87.5 million.
