ARAMEX (DFM: ARMX), the leading provider of total transportation solutions, has won in three categories at the First Annual Middle East Logistics Awards 2006 (MELA). The awards are for Best Express Operator, Entrepreneurship in Logistics – Outstanding Achievement and Personality of the Year in Land Transport Industry.
A panel of judges from the MELA Advisory Board and the MELA Executive Board made their decision based on ARAMEX’s accomplishments in the past year. It came out on top during the two-phase selection procedure of nominations and voting by the logistics community and clients in the region. ARAMEX competed with 76 other international and regional companies in the three categories. The nominations, voting and results processes were audited by AGNMAK, the Official Auditors of the MELA 2006.

The MELA Awards 2006 celebrate excellence in the Middle East logistics industry by recognizing individuals and companies in the logistics community in 28 categories of Performance Excellence. The awards were presented at a special ceremony held at Madinat Jumeirah on November 21, 2006.
