Aramex International has announced the launch of its services to Baghdad, becoming the first express service provider to commence operations in post-war Iraq. The company has extensive expansion plans and aims to provide transportation solutions to every Iraqi city in the near future, according to a company press release.

“Given Aramex’s long history in the region, we are extremely well placed to enter the Iraqi market—this is a natural progression. Iraq could potentially become the commercial success story of the Middle East. Entry into new markets is always a challenge, and this market is one we are particularly well prepared for,” said Fadi Ghandour, president and CEO of Aramex International.

With over 20 years regional experience, ARAMEX’s global network will cater to the transportation needs of the rapidly growing number of international businesses expected to enter the Iraqi market. “We are currently able to deliver to Baghdad, and will soon expand the reach of our services to include other Iraqi cities,” he concluded.

Aramex, provider of total transportation solutions in the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, currently delivers to over 250 countries worldwide. Aramex International offers express package delivery, freight forwarding, logistics and other transportation services. — (menareport.com)
