As of January, Arabian dotcom names are available for the first time in a series of auctions to be held by the New York based, dotcom names broker, Wall Street Listing.
"The market for dot-com names has continued to be strong, despite the stock market downturn last year, and top quality domain names remain very valuable assets," said Todd Green, spokesman for WallStreetListings.
The first auction of three high profile energy sector names ¯ ArabianOilandGas.com, ArabGas.com and GasArabia.com ¯ will open January 23 and close one week later. Further on-line auctions on February 3 and February 10 will include Arabian financial and general business dotcom domains.
"Anyone can log on to bid or watch the auction in progress,' said Todd Green, spokesman for WallStreetListings.
