The Middle East's dental trade show is to be held in Dubai next January, as part of Arab Health 2003, the hospital, medical equipment and services exhibition and conference. Organized by IIR Exhibitions, Arab Dentistry serves a rapidly expanding market valued at over two billion dollars. The region's pharmaceutical market is valued at over four billion dollars, placing it among the world's top 10 markets, with an annual expansion rate of nine percent.

“Dental equipment has always been an important part of Arab Health and we have now grouped exhibitors in one key area, resulting in over 800 square meters of dedicated space,” said John Hassett, exhibitions director at IIR Exhibitions’ Healthcare Division.

“Arab Health attracts more dentists, hospital managers and health ministry officials than any other event. At this year's show almost a quarter of visitors, nearly 4,000 in total, said dental products and services were of primary interest to them.

“With many new exhibitors from over 25 countries, including, for the first time, an Italian national pavilion, Arab Dentistry will be a launch pad into the Middle East market for numerous products and services new to the region,” said Hassett.

Arab Dentistry is one of three sister vertical events running alongside Arab Health 2003, which will take place at the Dubai International Exhibition Center, from January 26-29. The others are Pharmacy, the only Middle East event dedicated to pharmacists, general practitioners and hospital medical staff and Medlab, for laboratory and biotechnology and diagnostic products. — (menareport.com)
