ALBAWABA - American tech company Apple is trending across social media after receiving backlash for its recent iPad "Crush" advertisement as it used a hydraulic press to destroy other creative tools.
Several users saw the ad as "Insulting" towards creatives who use tools other than the iPad and called it a "waste" to destroy perfectly working products that could've been used by artists in need or in general.
The Apple ad had many products including paint buckets, mannequins, cameras, musical tools, monitors, and statues all getting destroyed by the hydraulic press then followed by an edit for the all-new M4 chipped iPad Pro in hopes of advertising the product.

One user added, "It’s all of the devices in one tool. It does not replace any of those it works in tandem with them (pun intended). No musician would give up the actual instrument he learned but you can for sure record your sessions with the iPad and use it for the rest of the production."
Another added, "The backlash is very deserved."
Despite many users hating the ad, other users on X (formerly known as Twitter) took to Apple's defense and voiced their opinions on the matter. Here's what they had to say:
"People getting offended by everything. Who would’ve thought?"
"Is there a way for humanity to get more sensitive or are we at the peak now?"
