ALBAWABA - Apple released the iOS 17 operating system for iPhones. It's the biggest update from Apple this year and is available to anyone with an iPhone from 2018 or newer.
The company releases a major update to the iPhone operating system every year alongside new iPhone models, and you don't necessarily need to buy a new device to access the latest software.
This year's update includes numerous improvements to some of the most commonly used apps, including the Phone app, Messages, and Safari.
Changes include the option to set a profile picture that appears when you contact others, as well as automatic correction using a language model similar to Chat GPT technology.
The iMessage interface has been completely redesigned, with hidden apps like stickers or the camera now moved to a menu on the left side of the screen instead of being placed above the keyboard.
The Messages app can now also automatically transcribe short voice messages. Significant enhancements have been made to searching through old texts as well.
