ALBAWABA – Apple, the American multinational corporation and technology company, announced plans to release a new smart home security camera by 2026.
Apple launches first home smart security camera
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a market analyst at KGI Securities, Apple will release their new home smart security camera in 2026 and will collaborate with GoerTek, a Chinese acoustic components company, which will be its exclusive assembly supplier.
“Apple is making its first foray into the smart home IP camera market, with mass production scheduled for 2026, targeting annual shipments in the tens of millions,” Kuo wrote.
The new smart home security camera is set to integrate with other Apple devices through a wireless connection.

Kuo suggested that the camera's feed can be viewed on multiple devices, including the iPhone, Apple Watch, and other Apple products.
Kuo added: “This strategic move demonstrates Apple’s continued exploration of growth opportunities in the home market. Will be significantly enhanced by Apple’s great ecosystem and deep integration with Apple Intelligence and Siri.”
