If you have both Apple and Android devices populating your house, and you are just tired of getting confused with the cables, then the LMcable is what you need.
The LMcable is a Kickstarter project that calls itself the world’s first iOS and Android common connector. It is a single cable that is capable of connecting devices that use either Lightning or microUSB ports. In simple words, it is actually just both the connector types in one, with a standard USB connector on the other end. In order to switch between a Lightning or microUSB port, all the user has to do is turn the connector upside down, which the LMcable team refers to as ‘flipping over a coin’.
According to the Kickstarter page for the LMcable, it supports fast data transfer and 2.4A fast charging and it has a premium design along with four different leather styles with a small brass buckle belt for coiling away. The campaign has been only live for less than two weeks, and it has already reached its goal.
The LMcable is now available for preorders now for US$21, while the shipping is expected to be sometime in April.
