According to press reports, construction for a major property development project jointly owned by the Saudi-based Oger group was recently started in the Jordanian capital of Amman.
The $1.5 million Abdali project, considered Jordan's largest property development, is a 50-50 joint venture between Jordan's largest property investment firm, the state-owned Mawared, and Oger, according to Reuters.
The 480,000 square meter development will include ten towers, an American University and a convention center. The American University and convention center will be located on army headquarters occupying 60,000 square metres within the Abdali site.
