Dubai’s Almarai Company Limited has launched a new dairy product, the low fat Super Milk. A fresh milk product with no added water or powder, Almarai Super milk contains 25 percent more protein, according to a company press release. The product contains 20 percent more calcium than standard whole milk and 69 percent less fat, while keeping the taste of whole milk.

The low fat content is achieved through Almarai's New Ultra Filtration Process, which partially removes the natural water and fat in milk, making it more concentrated, with the natural addition of more calcium and protein. The Ultra Filtration Process has been in development at the dairy for some time, and Almarai has invested in the equipment and technology to enable them to carry out this process.

“In this health conscious age, many milk drinkers are looking for a low fat option to whole milk, without sacrificing on taste. Almarai Super milk offers low fat, semi skimmed milk drinkers the opportunity to revert back to the great taste of whole milk with even better health benefits,” John O'Kelly, Almarai’s marketing manager said. — (menareport.com)
