Algeria to chair 2nd Arab petrol conference

Algeria is due to hold the second African petrol congress that will take place between February 14 and 17 2005 in the Algerian capital, Algiers, according to a statement of the Algerian minister of energy and mines, Chakib Khelil, to the local Algerian press. 

Representatives of more than 200 Algerian companies as well as 15 African ministers will take part in the meeting. The main aim of the meeting is to discuss the risks involved in the petrol industry and to coordinate strategy.
