Al-Safi Danone brand launched in Kuwait

Al-Safi Danone’s range of products was launched in Kuwait during a dinner held at the Sheraton Kuwait in co-ordination with its local distributor, Al-Yasra Foodstuffs Company. The event was held under the patronage of Minister of Social Affairs, Labor and Water and Electricity, Talal Al-Aayar. During the event, more than 400 guests were given the opportunity to sample Al-Safi Danone’s range of products that was introduced in Kuwait.  

 

“Al-Yasra would market the whole range of Al-Safi Danone’s dairy products. This includes fresh milk, laban, yogurt, the Rashaka 0 percent sugar and 0 percent fat range, Danao juice milk, Danino – a kids product that has four times more milk than ordinary yogurt, in addition to deserts like Crème Caramel. All Al-Safi Danone products are made from 100 percent fresh milk and are packaged at the company’s factory in Kharaj, Saudi Arabia,” said Al Yasra Foodstuff associate, Mohammed Al-Sager.  

 

Al-Safi Danone is part of Al-Safi group of companies, which operates one of the largest integrated dairy farms in the world, with two neighboring farms covering more than 7,500 hectares altogether and 30,000 cows. Part of the Al-Faisaliah group, Al-Safi merged with the French dairy giant Danone in 2000. Al-Safi Danone owns and operates 24 distribution centers in all reaches of Saudi Arabia, serviced by more than 450 refrigerated and climate-controlled trucks.  

 

Al-Yasra Food Company is a distributor of frozen and chilled food to the retail and food service sectors in Kuwait. It is also a producer of poultry, frozen fruits and vegetables as well as bottled water. Al-Yasra services its customers with a staff of 600 employees and a fleet of 120 trucks. — (menareport.com)
