Al-Ansari Exchange, one of the Middle East’s exchange houses has chosen the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) based security solution, SecureAccess, of Comtrust, the e-solutions business division of Etisalat, to meet the security needs of its new online remittance service-Cash Express.

Launched in May, Al-Ansari Exchange’s latest offering is the region’s first fully integrated web based application for B2B remittance transactions. Al-Ansari Exchange worked hand-in-hand with Comtrust to implement and deploy the virtual remittance tool.

In order for the Cash Express solution to run smoothly, three different sites had to be interconnected – Al-Ansari Exchange’s Abu Dhabi office, where remittance transactions are authorized; a server site, where the bulk of the Cash Express application is run; and the intermediate server, hosted by Comtrust, connecting Cash Express to the Internet.

Comtrust, the e-solutions business unit the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat), the national telecom of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was launched in 2000 to bridge the gap in the market for a secure e-business solutions provider. Comtrust offers e-business solutions in the areas of business-to-business, business-to-consumer and e-government services. — (menareport.com)
