Al-Alamiah launches Dell Inspiron in Saudi Arabia

Al-Alamiah Electronics, the exclusive agent for Dell products in Saudi Arabia recently launched the new Dell Inspiron 2650 as part of its strategy to bring the latest Dell technology to customers throughout the Kingdom.  

 

According to Marketing Director of Al-Alamiah Electronics, Abdul Aziz Al-Zaid, the company sold more than 2,500 units within the first three weeks of the launch. 

 

Inspiron is powered with a Pentium 4 Mobile Intel Processor, which was designed to work in laptops and considered serious innovation in processor technology. The Mobile Processor allows the battery to give 40 percent additional computing time compared to the conventional chip.  

 

In addition to the new mobile processor, the Inspiron 2650 is equipped with a 2.0 GHz – M with Intel SpeedStep Technology, a 30 GB hard disk, and a 256 DDR SDRAM that ensures double performance and speed. The Inspiron is internet ready with an integrated mini-PCI 56k V90 modem & 10/100f NIC, and a Arabic and English ready keyboard. Like all Dell products, the Inspiron is backed a warranty program. 

 

According to the most recent IDC study, Dell is the number one PC brand in the Kingdom with more than 20 percent marketshare. — (menareport.com)
