The Middle East Airport Build and Supply Exhibition, running for the second consecutive year from June 3-5, 2002, at Dubai's Airport Expo, has attracted nearly 100 exhibitors from 17 countries. The exhibition showcased products ranging from x-ray security systems, airfield lighting and passenger boarding bridges to transponder loading systems and voice communication equipment.
“The region is continuing to pump billions of dollars into airport development and expansion plans,” explained Joanne Evans, director of Streamline Marketing, organizers of the event. “This event has been created specifically to cater to these new airport development projects in the Middle East and give exhibitors the chance to meet with decision makers from many of the region's departments of civil aviation and airports.” — (menareport.com)
