Aether Films announced the introduction of its fifth edit-suite built around the just launched Intel 3 GHz P4 processor and motherboard.
The ability to build your own broadcast edit-suite system has been around for a number of years but it is arguably only in the last year or so that the combination of hardware, software and raw processing power has got to a stage where you really can build a fully optioned real-time broadcast edit-suite system inside a standard PC casing.
With the system being the first of its kind in this configuration in the Middle East and as an example of how the P4 3GHz has facilitated the ability to create a high-end edit an animation suite at a price that the home enthusiast can afford, Intel actually invited Aether Films to demonstrate their system live at their own 3 GHz P4 launch. — (menareport.com)
