Saudi-based AES Arabia has won a contract to build a water desalination plan for the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), reported Gulf Daily News. The plant will have a daily capacity of 1,000 cubic meters per day and is expected to be operational by next month.
Located in Sakhir, in the south of Bahrain, the $150 million BIC will be operational in early 2004 and will be available to host a round of the 2004 FIA Formula One World Championship on April 4, 2004. — (menareport.com)
