Yemen’s Aden Oil Refinery exported 7,100 tons of liquefied gas this week. Some 4,700 tons of the Refinery’s output was exported via the Port of Aden while 2,400 tons was shipped from the Port of Mokha, reported Saba. Shipments were destined for Greece and several Asian states.
Yemen operates two refineries, one in the southern port city of Aden and the other in the central province of Maareb. The Aden refinery, built by British Petroleum (BP) in 1954, is the older and bigger of the two, with a capacity of refining 150,000 barrels per day (bpd). — (menareport.com)
