The Acotel Group has been awarded a contract with LibanCell in Beirut to supply its Application Router and Protocol Converter (JAR), a middleware platform connecting third party applications to an operator's SMSC and MMSC infrastructure.
The contract is Acotel’s 14th GSM operator contract in the Middle East. The Italian-based Group provides personalized, wireless value-added services to an addressable subscriber base of 35 million, through partnerships with Wireless Network Operators.
