Abdullah Al Zaabi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Customs Office, announced that the value of Abu Dhabi's total foreign trade amounted to Dh 46.321 billion in 2005, of which Dh 35.214 billion imports, Dh 7.921 billion re-exports and Dh 3.186 billion non-oil exports.
According to Al-Bayan newspaper, Al Zaabi disclosed that Abu Dhabi's major trade partners were Saudi Arabia with Dh 5.7 billion exports to Abu Dhabi, Japan with Dh 4 billion exports to Abu Dhabi and the USA with 3.7 billion exports to Abu Dhabi.
