The Al-Otaiba Group of Ests. Co. LLC in Abu Dhabi, the sole importer of Land Rover products in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) capital, has announced the introduction of a customer privilege card, which entitles the holder to service benefits.

Called the Vehicle Passport, customers of any Land Rover product purchased at Al-Otaiba will automatically receive a privilege card, according to a company press release. “We want to have a lifelong relationship with our customers and it’s hoped the privileges offered will encourage this,” commented Asaad Arar, Al-Otaiba Group general manager.

“A Vehicle Passport is an effective way for Land Rover customers in Abu Dhabi to check their car in for a service quickly and comfortably and to actually be rewarded for doing so,” added Bill Begg, regional director of Land Rover Middle East & Africa, in Dubai.

For first time owners of any Range Rover, Discovery Series II, Freelander or Defender, the card permits up to 17 percent discount off servicing costs, priority service booking and a 50 dirhams fee for renting a replacement vehicle while their Land Rover is being serviced.

Second car owner benefits include a free estimate on their vehicle’s condition during the sale from first to second owner, a 20 percent discount on all parts and service charges, a vehicle history print out upon request and a recovery service renewal at a very reasonable rate.

Extended warranty for a minimal fee is also available for second car owners and, as for new car buyers, priority service booking and just Dh50 rental on a loan vehicle during servicing periods. — (menareport.com)
