The Egyptian Minister of Industry and Technology Development, Ali Al-Saeidy, stated that Egyptian industry made substantial progress last year with the launching 743 industrial projects, reported Al-Ahram . Total investments pumped into factories totaled 14.4 billion Egyptian Pounds. The value of the projects’ total output is estimated at EP 13 billion per annum. The minister added that industrial projects created more than 40,600 jobs, paying yearly salaries equivalent to EP 260 million. — (menareport.com)
