3Com Corporation, a networking technology provider, has made a donation of $30,000 to the ASPIRE Academy of Sports Excellence, the region’s leading sports academy based in Qatar.
The sum will be used to fund ASPIRE’s continuous efforts to provide the region’s most promising athletes with world-class facilities and technology, a news release issued by 3Com said.
Top executives from 3Com Monday handed over the donation to Dr. Thomas Flock, Director general of ASPIRE and to Soubhi Abdulkarim, IT manager, during an event to mark the occasion.
