More than 17,000 cases were filed with the Dubai courts last year, according to figures released by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). The majority of the cases concerned commercial issues.
The Lawyers and Legal Consultants Group is the ninth business group to have been established with the backing of DCCI in recent months. Four new business groups are also planned in February. The Real Estate and Property Group will meet at DCCI on February 17, the Travel and Tour Agents Group meets the day after, the Supply Chain and Logistics Group convenes at the Chamber on February 23, and the Building and Civil Constructions Group holds its inaugural meet on February 25. — (menareport.com)
