The Regency InterContinental Bahrain is greeting business and leisure travelers with a new appearance, after completion of a $1.7 million investment program. The three-year project has transformed the Bahraini hotel, creating three floors of completely renovated rooms as well as two new-look Royal Suites.
The Versailles Restaurant, Lebanese Restaurant, bistros and bars have all been revamped. In addition, the Clipper Room, with its pub-style atmosphere, has been enhanced with tall-ship style beams and a range of nautical memorabilia, according to a hotel press release.
The refurbished fitness center features a new squash court, steam room and saunas, and a qualified Resident Recreation Manager is available to design personalized fitness programs and treatments. The renovation program was implemented by hotel owners, United Hotels Company.
Apart from striking aesthetic changes, guests can expect to be pampered by staff who have undergone intensive re-training as part the new global service initiatives introduced by InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.
The Regency InterContinental Bahrain is one of 33 InterContinental properties in the Middle East now ensuring that health clubs and fitness centers, as well as business centers, are open 24 hours a day, while laundry and dry cleaning services are also available round the clock.
