ALBAWABA - Former U.S. President Donald Trump is making headlines again in the final stages of his campaign for the White House with the introduction of his latest product line: luxury watches bearing his name.
After previously launching gold sneakers and silver coins, the Republican candidate has announced a collection of watches priced between $499 and $100,000.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump touted the watches, saying, "These timepieces are truly exceptional, and you're going to love them." He added that they would make "fantastic" birthday gifts.
Trump encouraged his followers to visit a dedicated website to purchase their own watch, stating, "Get your own Trump watch now."
Among the offerings is the "Trump Victory Tourbillon," a gold watch adorned with jewels and priced at $100,000, making it the most expensive in the collection. Only 147 units are available, and the watch is offered in three different colors.
The product website emphasizes that the watches are "not political" and are unrelated to any campaign, clarifying that they "were not designed, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Donald Trump, the Trump Organization, or any of its affiliates or executives."
This launch represents the latest strategy by Trump to capitalize on his name in a manner unmatched by any previous presidential candidate.
The announcement comes just 40 days before the election and on a day when Trump did not participate in any campaign activities.
Since entering the race nearly two years ago, Trump has reportedly generated millions from merchandise sales, including his previous gold sneakers, silver coins featuring his likeness and signature, two books, and a recently announced cryptocurrency project.
