Arabian Courtyard to host ‘Create your own pizza day’ for special needs adults
Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of the ancient cultural district of Dubai, is hosting “Create your own pizza day” for Mawaheb from Beautiful People on February 24th 2011 between 0930 hrs – 1130 hrs. The event is dedicated to help special needs adults discover their innate artistic abilities in cooking and to come up with their own creations. The event promises to be a learning experience for the amateur cooks and offer them a healthy, fun and fulfilling new activity that will open up new vistas of exploration.
The success of the event will see the restaurant host a cooking club for the same audience every month during which the budding chefs will learn to bake their own treats. An art studio for young adults with special needs is located in the Al Bastakiya district.
Habib Khan, General Manager of the hotel and CEO Hospitality Division of Planet Group, said: “We are very happy to host the ‘Create your own pizza day’ for special needs adults. Cooking is considered to be one of the great creative arts. And exploring the creative potential with an activity of this nature will help stimulate vital parts of the brain and thereby possibly help in healing.”
Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa is located in old Dubai within the bustling souks in the historic Bastakiya area with the famous Dubai Creek’s blue waters flowing close by.
Habib added that since it’s founding the property’s name has been synonymous with innovative activities such as thematic cooking contests and food festivals that have made its restaurants highly popular in the city for the quality, taste of their dishes and their ambience.
