Arab Bank family together towards a healthy lifestyle

Arab Bank recently organized a family walk event under its sustainability program, Together, for employees, families and friends at Al Hussein Sports City. The event included a stroll through Sport City’s nature track and special consultations by healthcare professionals at the venue. 

In addition to the walk, medical professionals and pharmacists were on hand to conduct basic medical tests such as glucose test, CO test, blood pressure and body mass index (BMI) as well as providing general consultation services to the participants. This activity was done in collaboration with Pfizer Inc. and Oxygen Pharmacy. 

Ms. Dina Shoman, Executive Vice President of Branding at Arab Bank commented: “Arab Bank is keen on organizing activities that promote the well-being and awareness of health related issues for our staff; this activity represents our commitment to our employees’ health and is part of a series of activities that we have planned to promote a healthy lifestyle.”

Ms. Shoman also added, “Health is a key pillar of the Together program; this event not only reinforced the health benefits of walking daily, but also addresses important issues for our staff such as blood pressure, diabetes and the importance of a proper diet.” 

The participants also expressed their appreciation for this event, noting that it was an activity that brought employees together with their families and was also informative for everybody involved.
