Al Tayyar Travel Group was ranked first in the Prince Nayef Bin Abdul-Aziz Saudization awards

The Prince Nayef Bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud Award for Saudization which is in its seventh season ranked the Al Tayyar Travel Group first in the Travel & Tourism sector and issued them with the Gold Award. By winning this Award, Al Tayyar Travel Group has put the travel & tourism industry on the map for the first time in this competition. The award was presented by His Highness the Minister of Labour Adel Fakieh and graciously received by Dr. Fahad Al Jarboa, the CEO of Al Tayyar Travel Group. 

Al Tayyar Travel Group was given the top award in acknowledgment of their continued efforts in cooperating with all government entities and the private sector by attracting Saudi Nationals to work within the travel & tourism industry. Al Tayyar Travel Group also offers full training to Saudi Nationals throughout all levels of its staff by way of the Al Tayyar Training Academy, allowing them to acquire all of the necessary skills to progress throughout the industry. 

Dr. Fahad Al Jarboa commented on the award saying: “We consider this to be a fitting tribute to the vision of Dr. Nasser Al Tayyar, who right from the very beginning always believed that Saudization is a major factor in growth and development of all companies within the Kingdom.” 

He added: “As a company we continue to work hard as we all consider the travel & tourism industry as one of the key sectors that can help with economic growth and promote our national identity on an international level.” 

Travel & tourism has seen progressive growth within the Kingdom over the last year specifically in areas such as corporate travel and religious vacations. Saudi Arabia is now also seen as a tourist destination and with the continued support from the government and private sector the growth within the industry is set to continue for the foreseeable future.
