Abu Dhabi International Airport receives Middle East Staff Service Excellence Award by Skytrax

Abu Dhabi International Airport today announced that it has been awarded with the “Staff Service Excellence Award” for the Middle East by Skytrax, the World Airport Awards.
Over the last 8 months, Skytrax has tallied daily results from various international airports around the world to monitor, assess and validate staff performance and customer feedback. Abu Dhabi International Airport’s consistent delivery of world class services has set it apart from other airports.
Ahmad Al Haddabi, Senior Vice President Airports Operations, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), commented, “We are very proud to have received the accolade of Staff Service Excellence. It gives us as recognition of the efforts and hard work put in by the management and staff to constantly elevate the presence of Abu Dhabi international Airport among leading organizations within the international civil aviation industry. We believe this award will act as an added motivation towards supporting Abu Dhabi Airport Company’s mission to be the world’s leading airport group.”
Al Haddabi continued, “We continuously develop and enhance our services not only to our airlines and passengers, but also to our staff and partners working at the airport, to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction and performance. Some of these initiatives include dedicating special services and facilities to airport staff that would include car parks, entrances, and transportation within the airport vicinity and to and from the city of Abu Dhabi and other areas. In addition, ADAC has designed training and incentive programs to all staff working at the airport to ensure the continuous and efficient development of their performances.””
Saif Al Mazrouei, Chairman’ Office Manager of ADAC, received the “Staff Service Excellence” Award on behalf of Abu Dhabi Airports Company during the Skytrax World Airport Awards ceremony, the industry’s leading air travel awards, held at the Exhibition Hall of the Bella Center on 30th March, in Copenhagen, Denmark as part of the Passenger Terminal Expo.
The award winning airport was again recognized yesterday by the Higher Committee for UAE Civil Seaports & Airports Security when it received the “Golden Prize” for its positive results achieved through the findings of program audit, inspection and security survey for 2010. In Addition, Al Bateen Executive Airport and Al Ain International Airport both received recognition for their security standards and performance for 2010 during the same ceremony which was held last at the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Commenting on this latest recognition for ADAC, Al Haddabi said, “I would like to take this opportunity and thank all staff and partners at Abu Dhabi International for their hard efforts, as without their dedication and commitment none of these achievements would have been possible.”
