Theatre expert shares insights on script editing at Dubai Culture’s workshop for young talents

The Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is hosting a scriptwriting workshop for theatre artists and enthusiasts, led by theatre veteran Dr. Osama Abu Talib.

Aimed at enhancing the quality of plays to be showcased at the fifth edition of the Dubai Festival for Youth Theatre, the workshop covers the various stages of editing a script to perfection. The workshop also helps participants identify the gaps in their scripts, enable them to provide room for impromptu changes and equip them to identify a strong script from a weak one.

The workshop is being held until June 6, 2011.
