Subway Jordan invites donations for cancer treatment at all 11 outlets

Subway Restaurants in Jordan today announced its ongoing fund-raising initiative for the treatment of cancer has proved a huge success to date across all 11 outlets.

As part of the drive that was launched in 2010, Subway is offering its restaurants in Jordan as platforms for inviting donations from patrons.

In recognition of its efforts and success achieved, Subway restaurants in Jordan received a letter of appreciation from King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF).

Mohammad Omar, Subway Development Agent in Jordan, said: “Our cooperation with King Hussein Cancer Foundation comes as part of our continuous efforts to support various health issues in Jordan.

“All donations will go towards providing cancer patients with the best treatment available and establish programmes that mobilize wider community engagement in the fight against cancer. We sincerely acknowledge all those who have contributed to this noble cause and encourage others to do their part as well.”

Subway in Jordan plays a vital role in supporting various awareness campaigns on the importance of healthy eating habits including those from the Ministry of Health, government organizations, as well as other health-related media promotions.

The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit institution founded in 1997 by a Royal Decree to combat cancer in Jordan and the Middle East region.
