Maya Nasri praying for a baby

Lebanese singer Maya Nasri revealed that she and her husband pray to God constantly asking him to grand them the wish of becoming parents. The couple has been married for several months and still living in a honeymoon.


Maya Nasri said in an interview with the Lebanese magazine Network  that she and her husband Egyptian director Ihab Lam’ei pray to have many children and always ask their friends to pray for them to have this wish granted.


With regards to the difference in dialect between her and her husband, Maya stated that she talks to him in the Egyptian dialect due to the fact that the Lebanese dialect contains numerous phrases that are difficult to understand, despite the fact that he adores the Lebanese dialect.



Maya is currently working on her upcoming television drama “Min Kul Qalbi” (With all my heart). She plays the role of wedding planner, who falls in love with a man that is apparently married. Maya discovers her love is married after a year and a half into their relationship and he tries to convince her that he is in the process of being separated, but is lying.

Tareq Suwayd writes the scenario of the drama that along with Maya stars Bassim Maghnieh, Brigitte eliminatesYalghi, Nagham Abu Shadeed,, Marcel Marina, Khitam Al Laham, Talal Al Jardi, Stephanie Salem and a number of guests of honor like Hiam Abu Shadeed and Majdi Mashmushi. The drama is directed by Joe Fadel.
