Egyptian lawyer Abd Al Hameed Sha’lan has filed a lawsuit demanding the screening of the film “Al Feel Fil Mandeel” starring Egyptian actor Tal’at Zakaria be stopped. The lawyer considers screening of the film is a mockery to all the lives that were lost during the Egyptian January 25 Revolution that overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak.
Abd Al Hameed stated that the film is an insult to revolutionists that were able to retrieve their honor and freedom from the former regime of Mubarak. He added that Tal’at used blasphemous phrases to insult protesters during the revolution and accused them of committing unsuitable deeds.
On his part, Tal’at denied all allegations made by Abd Al Hameed and stated that a date has been set to screen his new film and he expects it to witness tremendous success.
