Prominent Egyptian singer Angham will be venturing into the world of television drama through the new drama “Ghamdit Ayn” (Blink of an eye). Angham previously took part in the play “Risasah Fi Al Qalb” (A bullet in the heart), which had marked her first acting experience.
Angham stated that the story of the drama intrigued her and persuaded her to enter the world of television drama hoping that she will meet the satisfaction of viewers.
According to the internet website MBC.net, the story of the drama revolves around the lives of two women that live in an orphanage. Throughout the events of the drama, the character of Angham has amnesia and begins her journey to reveal her past.
The drama stars Egyptian actress Dalia Al Buhairi, Ahmad Wafeeq, Shareef Ramzi, Najla Badr, Mohammad AL Shaqanqari and Fadia Abd Al Ghani. The story is written by Fida Al Shandaweeli, direction by Sameeh Al Naqqash and production by Mohammad Al Shaqanqari.
On a different note, Angham recently released a single titled “Nus Al Dunia” (Half of the world) and is currently filming a music video for it. She is also working on her new album, which she hopes to be ready by the beginning of 2013.
