Yamal: Helping Spain win the Euros a dream

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal expressed his joy after helping Spain win the Euro 2024 title on Sunday.

The 17-year-old became the youngest player to win the Euros.

He also claimed the young player of the tournament award.

The right-winger said after the game, as quoted by Tribal Football: “I’m very happy, this is a dream.

“It is the best gift I could have been given, I want to go with my family now to celebrate.

“When they tied the game, they put us under a lot of pressure, but this team, no matter what, always come back and ends up winning.

“My teammates helped me a lot, and I’m very comfortable with them and very happy.”

Spain defeated England 2-1 in the final to claim their fourth Euros title.
