Today's second set of matches of the knockout round of 16 look particularly interesting and the Netherlands and Mexico take the pitch first this afternoon to determine whom will move on to the quarterfinals.

Holland were very impressive in the opening group stage going a perfect three for three to win their group and trouncing Spain as well as putting in dominate performances against both Chile and Australia.

Their victory over Spain was an absolute rout as the Spaniards were not ready for the Dutch whom were bound and determined to take revenge on the side that defeated them in the 2010 World Cup Final.

Mexico likewise were very impressive in the group stages and can feel harshly done by that they did not beat Brazil when they faced them as Guillermo Ochoa had one of the greatest goal keeping night that the Mexican National Team has ever seen.

Holland come into the match as the favored side thanks to the return of Robin Van Persie, while Mexico have to deal with the suspension of Jose Juan Vazquez after receiving his second booking against Croatia.

Netherlands Starting XI: Cillessen: Vrij, Vlaar, Indi; Janmaat, Jong, Guzman, Blind; Sneijder; Van Persie, Robben.

Mexico Starting XI: Ochoa: Rodriguez, Marquez, Moreno; Aguilar, Herrera, Salcido, Guardado, Layun; Santos, Peralta.
