Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has hinted at the possibility of renewing his contract with Liverpool after weeks of speculation surrounding his future. Salah mentioned that some developments could see him extend his stay at the club beyond the current season.

In a post-match interview following Liverpool's 2-1 victory over Lille in the Champions League, Salah spoke to Amazon Prime about reaching 50 goals in European competitions, saying: "I'm very happy and proud of this achievement, especially as we won the game, because that's what matters most."

When asked about scoring another 50 goals for Liverpool, Salah replied: "I'm not sure about that, but I’ll give it my best." He also praised Lille's performance: "They had a good game plan and were unbeaten in their last 21 matches, so they were a tough team, but we managed to win, and that's what counts."

Salah expressed some disappointment after conceding a counterattack goal, saying: "I wanted to keep a clean sheet, but that's part of the game. The manager will talk about it later."

Concluding his remarks, Salah emphasized the importance of teamwork in winning major trophies, stating: "To win a big tournament, you need a strong squad. We have great talent, and everyone is working hard to make that happen."

With this milestone, Salah continues to shine, and the possibility of extending his contract with Liverpool seems increasingly likely.
