Chelsea started their campaign off the right way with an impressive 1-3 dispatching of Burnley at Turf Moor on Monday as new signings Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa both showed great signs of things to come for the Blues.

Jose Mourinho is not likely to make many changes to the side against Leicester, but he is certain to get another tough challenge from a recently promoted side in the Foxes.

Ramires returns from from his suspension and Willian is believed fully fit and could see himself into the first team in the place of Andre Schurrle, although the German was on the scoresheet earlier in the week.

The other debate is that with it being another recently promoted side on the docket will Mourinho once again go with Thibaut Courtois over Petr Cech.

Leicester impressed against Everton securing a season opening draw against the Toffees at King Power Stadium, but they will have a much tougher test away at Stamford Bridge.

Manager Nigel Pearson will be missing Matthew Upson, Matthew Jones and likely Daniel Drinkwater after he was forced off at the weekend. Jamie Vardy and Marc Albrighton are both doubts but could be available.

Although Leicester are likely to be a bit more up to the task of Chelsea than Burnley, the Foxes are not expected to be a major threat to the Blues but it will be an interesting match none-the-less.

Projected Lineups

Chelsea XI: Courtois: Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Costa.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel: Last, Moore, Morgan, Konchesky; Mahrez, King, Hammond, Knockaert; Ulloa, Nugent.
