Juventus new manager Thiago Motta has admitted that Federico Chiesa is leaving this summer.

The former Fiorentina star was left out of Juve's squad for Saturday's preseason 2-2 friendly draw with Brest.

Motta said after the match, as quoted by Tribal Football: “Chiesa is out for transfer reasons, the same as the others who were left behind, other than Fabio Miretti who is injured.

“We have been very clear with them. They are talented, but must find other options where they will get more playing time.

"For Chiesa and the others, the decision has been made.”

The 26-year-old's deal with Juventus is valid until 2025.

He is being linked with the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle, Chelsea and Tottenham.
