Manchester United are determined to land Paris Saint-Germain's midfielder Manuel Ugarte this transfer window.

The player is desperate for the deal to go through, having sat out PSG's 4-1 win Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre on Friday.

United are now working to reach terms with the Parisian giants, according to Sky Sports.

However, they will have to sell first to fund Ugarte's deal, which will cost them €50 million.

The Red Devils are also considering a loan deal with an obligatory buy option.
