Manchester United star Raphael Varane is willing to return to Real Madrid in the winter transfer window, according to AS.
The 30-year-old has been linked with the Madrid club to replace David Alaba who is set to miss the rest of the season due to an ACL injury.
Alaba's absence is anticipated to extend for up to eight months.
Varane whs is off contract at United in June is reportedly open to a deal.
The French star still owns a house in Madrid and is prepared to lower his salary in order to seal the move.
