Liverpool could hijack Manchester United's deal for former Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to Goal.

The Reds' new boss Arne Slot is considering a move for the free agent, who is also being targeted by United.

Rabiot joined Juve in 2019 and became a key figure, but opted not to renew his deal.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are in the market for a replacement for departing star Thiago Alcantara.

Rabiot is a versatile player who could add new options for Slot in the midfield.

The 29-year-old scored 22 goals, and provided 15 assists in 212 appearances for Juventus across all competitions.
