England captain Harry Kane has responded to criticism over his form at Euro 2024 ahead of their upcoming semi-final clash against the Netherlands on Wednesday.

The Bayern Munich star has been the subject of criticism following his poor displays thus far.

However, the 30-year-old insisted that his main focus is on England's next game.

Kane said, as quoted by The Mirror: If you had spoken to me before the tournament and (said) I’d have a couple of goals and be in a semi-final, I’d have bitten your hand off.

“So, there is a lot of perspective. Hopefully, I score a couple of goals (against the Netherlands) and you are looking at it in a totally different way.

“You are top goalscorer, and you are through to a final, and it’s a totally different perspective.

“I can only do my talking on the pitch, and hopefully I can do that.”

Kane has two goals in five games at the Euros so far.
