Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino wants Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat to remain at the club.
The 27-year-old took part in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Parma in Serie A.
Palladino spoke about the Moroccan after the game, as quoted by Tribal Football: "I love him, he's a very good boy, we've created a great relationship with him. He's a sincere boy from heart.
"He sent signals to me and to Fiorentina, making himself available from day one. The transfer rumors are normal, he is a player of a certain level, he and the club will decide his future. I hope I can still coach him, for me, he is a great player."
Amrabat had hoped to stay at Manchester United, after spending last season on loan at Old Trafford.
However, the Red Devils opted not to buy the Morocco international.
The midfielder's deal with Fiorentina is set to expire in 2025.
