Manchester City star Erling Haaland has rubbished reports linking him with a future move to Real Madrid.

The Norway international is aware of the speculation surrounding his future, which was recently addressed by City boss Pep Guardiola.

He has made it clear that he is happy at Manchester City, and described the rumors as "banter".

Haaland spoke to the Daily Mail and said: "I'm a football guy. It is easy for my family to come here from Norway, just across the water, it is very close.

"I like the vibes, the positive energy from the supporters when I meet them. Jokes, the English people in general. I like to joke with them – we are quite similar in Norway, we like banter."

The 23-year-old has been linked with Real Madrid on more than one occasion, but he appears to be focused only on Manchester City.
