Barcelona have held talks with Al-Hilal over a potential move for Vitor Roque, who failed to break into the team.
The Brazilian arrived in a sensational move from Atletico Paranense back in January for €30 million.
However, the 18-year-old took part in only 14 appearances last season, and failed to break into Xavi Hernandez's team.
Barcelona appointed Hansi Flick as new boss this summer, but despite that, Sport says Al-Hilal have opened talks with the Catalan giants over a move for Roque.
The Saudi club wants the youngster on a loan deal with a mandatory buy option for next year.
Meanwhile, Barca prefers to sell the Brazilian outright for around €40m.
The Spanish club is set to reject Al-Hilal's approach, as per Fabrizio Romano, but are willing to listen to other offers.
Barcelona are eyeing Athletic Club winger Nico Williams, but need to sell before trying to sign him.
